Leak-free, low-noise circulation pump for cooling and temperature control circuits in bioreactors and fermenters in medical OEM systems
MARCH M1 – compact, magnetically coupled 24V centrifugal pump for reliable temperature control in biotechnological and medical systems
In modern fermentation and bioreactor systems, precise temperature control is essential for process stability, reproducibility, and product quality. Cooling and temperature control circuits must reliably remove process heat or supply heat as needed, without fluctuations that could interfere with biological processes.
For these requirements, the magnetically coupled MARCH M1 is an ideal compact, leak-free, and low-noise circulation pump with a 24V BLDC/EC drive. It is designed for applications where stable flow, high operational reliability, easy OEM integration, and low-maintenance continuous operation are critical.

The application
Fermentation and bioreactor systems are used in highly critical biotechnological processes – from early-stage research and process development through to industrial-scale production of active ingredients and vaccines. In these applications, parameters such as temperature, pH value, oxygen supply, and feeding regime directly affect cell growth, yield, and product quality.
Temperature control is one of the most safety-critical elements of the surrounding system infrastructure. Cooling and temperature control circuits ensure that heat is reliably removed or supplied as required. Even minor temperature deviations can compromise process stability and negatively affect sensitive biotechnological workflows.
In vaccine manufacturing, active ingredients are often processed and diluted after cultivation, transferred into sterile single-use containers, and then moved to downstream production and filling systems. This process chain places particularly high demands on the operational reliability and dependability of all peripheral components involved.
Why use a magnetically coupled 24V centrifugal pump?
In sensitive medical and biotechnological applications, leak-free, low-maintenance, and low-noise pump solutions are especially important. The magnetically coupled design of the MARCH M1 eliminates conventional dynamic seals and therefore significantly reduces leakage risk and maintenance requirements.
The compact 24V BLDC/EC drive makes the pump ideally suited for OEM integration into devices, skids, and modular process systems. At the same time, its smooth and quiet operation supports use in laboratory environments, diagnostic systems, clinical settings, and other noise-sensitive applications.
With a flow rate of up to 8.4 l/min and a maximum head of up to 4 m, the M1 offers an ideal performance profile for many cooling and temperature control tasks in biotech, medtech, and device peripheral applications.
